US dollar exchange rates against the Egyptian pound remained stable during trading today, Saturday, October 3, 2026, benefiting from the full pause in banking transactions coinciding with the weekend holiday for the Egyptian banking sector.
US Dollar Rates at the Central Bank and State-Owned Banks
The greenback held firm at its latest recorded levels across official and state-owned banking institutions as follows:
Central Bank of Egypt: EGP 52.25 for buy, and EGP 52.39 for sell.
National Bank of Egypt (NBE): EGP 52.27 for buy, and EGP 52.37 for sell.
Banque Misr: EGP 52.37 for buy, and EGP 52.37 for sell.
US Dollar Exchange Rates at Commercial and Private Banks
Private and commercial banks also experienced similar stability in buying and selling values, with rates distributed as follows:
