Dr. Mohamed Farid Saleh, Egypt’s Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, held meetings with representatives of three UAE-based groups to discuss their investment plans and potential expansion opportunities in the Egyptian market.
The meetings, held as part of his official visit to Abu Dhabi, included representatives of IRH Global Trading, ePointZero and Sallal. Discussions focused on the companies’ investment plans and opportunities to expand their activities in Egypt.
Egypt’s Economic Developments and Investment Climate
During the meetings, the Minister reviewed developments in the Egyptian economy and the government’s efforts to improve the investment climate and facilitate procedures for investors.
The discussions also covered several investment opportunities and projects available across priority sectors, as well as ways to strengthen communication and coordination between the UAE companies and relevant Egyptian authorities.
The meetings also addressed providing the companies with the necessary information to assess opportunities for expansion and investment in the Egyptian market.
Egypt Seeks to Attract UAE Investment and Expansion
Mohamed Farid invited the companies to explore investment opportunities available in Egypt and consider expanding their projects in the Egyptian market.
The Minister emphasized the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade’s commitment to strengthening communication with investors and providing the necessary information about available investment opportunities and projects.
He also noted that the investment efforts aim to promote opportunities in sectors with added value, economic returns and export potential, while strengthening partnerships with UAE investors.
