vivo X500 Series Launches Globally with ZEISS Cameras and 7,800mAh Battery
vivo has launched the X500 Series globally, comprising the X500 Pro Max, X500 Pro and X500, combining ZEISS-developed imaging systems with long-range photography, cinematic video capabilities and the OriginOS 7 operating system.
ZEISS-powered imaging
The X500 Pro Max leads the lineup with a 200MP ZEISS APO Telephoto camera featuring an 85mm equivalent focal length and CIPA 7.0 Professional Stabilization, designed to improve handheld shooting, particularly in challenging lighting conditions.
The phone also supports the vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra, offering up to a 400mm equivalent focal length, along with more than 10 shooting modes and advanced subject-tracking and long-range motion-imaging capabilities.
The X500 Pro features an 85mm-equivalent ZEISS APO Telephoto camera paired with a 64MP vivo × Sony LYTIA 610 sensor. The X500 combines a 72mm-equivalent ZEISS APO Telephoto camera with a 50MP ZEISS Pro-Level Ultra-Sensing main camera.
Cinematic video and creative tools
The X500 Pro Max and X500 Pro feature the ZEISS TrueDynamic Main Camera and support Cinematic Pro Log Video and 4K Cinematic Portrait Video, giving content creators greater flexibility in video production.
The series also supports high-speed video recording, including 4K video at 240 frames per second on the X500 Pro Max. Creative tools such as Film Style, Stage Mode and Movie Workshop further expand users’ options for capturing and producing content.
OriginOS 7 and AI features
The X500 Series runs OriginOS 7, combining smooth performance with AI-powered productivity tools and cross-device connectivity. Origin Workbench enables users to move between tasks and transfer files, while Origin Smooth Engine, Ultra-Core Computing, Memory Fusion and Dual Rendering are designed to support a fast and fluid experience.
Through vivo Office Kit, the system supports connectivity with AirPods, Apple Watch, iCloud and Mac. AI features include Snap & Go, AI Next Up and AI Recorder, helping users capture information, organize tasks and turn recordings into structured content.
Dimensity processors and high-capacity batteries
The X500 Pro Max and X500 Pro are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro, while the X500 uses the MediaTek Dimensity 9600M.
Battery capacities reach 7,800mAh on the X500 Pro Max, 6,510mAh on the X500 Pro and 7,500mAh on the X500. All three models support 90W FlashCharge wired charging and 40W wireless charging.
ZEISS displays and durability
The series features ZEISS Master Color Displays with a peak global brightness of up to 2,000 nits and 100% coverage of the P3 color gamut. The X500 Pro Max has a 6.85-inch 2K display, while the X500 Pro features a 6.36-inch panel and the X500 a 6.59-inch display.
The X500 adopts a Floating Camera Module design, while the X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max feature Tideline Design. All models offer IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, USB 3.2 and an infrared sensor.
