Oil Prices Dip After 4% Rally as Iran Expresses Readiness for Diplomacy with the US
Oil prices edged lower during Thursday's trading, reversing some of the previous session's 4% surge. The decline came as Iran announced its readiness to continue the diplomatic track to end the war with the United States, despite ongoing disagreements between the two sides over the terms for concluding the conflict.
Brent crude futures fell 12 cents, or 0.12%, to $102.96 a barrel, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures dropped 21 cents, or 0.23%, to $91.95.
