Egyptian Pound Holds Steady Against the US Dollar at Banks on Thursday
The average US dollar exchange rate against the Egyptian pound stood at EGP 51.37 for buying and EGP 51.47 for selling on Thursday, September 24, 2026, according to the average rate published by the Central Bank of Egypt.
At the banking sector level, the dollar was priced at EGP 51.37 for buying and EGP 51.47 for selling at National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr, Commercial International Bank (CIB), Qatar National Bank (QNB), Faisal Islamic Bank of Egypt, and Arab African International Bank (AAIB).
Meanwhile, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank – Egypt (ADIB) quoted the dollar at EGP 51.39 for buying and EGP 51.49 for selling.
