NTI and Riyada University Partner to Prepare Students for Future Jobs
The National Telecommunication Institute (NTI) and Riyada University for Science and Technology have entered into a new cooperation agreement aimed at equipping university students and graduates with the technical skills required for the rapidly evolving job market.
Under the protocol, students will have access to NTI’s summer training programs covering a wide range of technology disciplines, including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, cloud computing, Internet of Things (IoT), embedded systems, mobile communications, fiber optics, web design, graphic design, and freelancing.
The training programs combine academic knowledge with hands-on experience, allowing participants to develop practical skills that correspond to the requirements of the information and communications technology (ICT) sector. Students who successfully complete the programs will receive NTI-certified certificates, with opportunities to pursue international certifications in their respective fields.
The agreement also provides a framework for exchanging expertise and organizing specialized workshops, conferences, and industry-focused events. In addition, the two institutions will cooperate on graduation projects, research activities, and postgraduate studies.
The partnership is designed to strengthen the connection between academic knowledge and real-world industry needs, while supporting the development of digitally skilled graduates capable of adapting to technological changes.
The agreement is part of NTI’s efforts to expand cooperation with higher education institutions and contribute to digital capacity-building among young people. Riyada University is also seeking to strengthen its training and research activities through partnerships with organizations operating across the technology sector.
