International Freight Forwarding Division Head Attends Egypt’s World Maritime Day Celebration
Khaled Sabry, Chairman of the International Freight Forwarding Services Division, participated in the official World Maritime Day celebrations organized by the Egyptian Maritime Transport Sector. During his keynote address, Maj. Gen. Hussein El-Geziry emphasized that maritime shipping remains a top strategic pillar within Egypt’s national infrastructure and logistics modernization agenda:
Regional Transit Hub: The state is actively leveraging Egypt’s geographic position, coastal assets, and navigational waterways to transform the country into a premier regional transit trade hub.
Port Modernization: Expanding port capacities, upgrading handling infrastructure, and streamlining customs and logistics services are aimed at capturing a larger share of international maritime cargo.
Industry Synergy: Participation from freight-forwarding leadership underscores the critical coordination required between state port authorities and private logistics operators to optimize end-to-end supply chains.
