Snap Partners with Salesforce, Nvidia, and AWS to Integrate Enterprise AI into ”Specs” AR Glasses
Snap has announced strategic partnerships with Salesforce, Nvidia, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) to integrate advanced artificial intelligence and enterprise software into its "Specs" augmented reality (AR) glasses. Unveiled in June with a starting price of $2,195, the initiative marks a major pivot by Evan Spiegel’s company into the B2B enterprise hardware market. The move is designed to challenge established Big Tech players by offering hands-free computing solutions for frontline sectors such as manufacturing, retail, and field services.
Strategic Tech Integrations
The partnerships aim to transform the AR hardware into a functional tool for enterprise workflows:
Salesforce: Snap is integrating Salesforce's Agentforce AI platform, enabling workers to seamlessly access corporate data and execute business tasks directly through the glasses.
Nvidia: Nvidia is providing spatial AI and computer vision technologies that allow the Specs hardware to actively analyze the wearer's physical environment and retrieve contextually relevant data.
Amazon Web Services (AWS): AWS is deploying an AI-powered assistant that allows workers to execute hands-free voice commands, such as conducting real-time inventory and product availability checks.
Expanded Ecosystem: Snap also announced additional software partnerships with Trifork and HoloLight to further broaden industrial and enterprise use cases for the Specs ecosystem.
