EGYPHILA 2026 to Bring Stamp Collectors to Creativa Giza on Sept. 17
The third edition of EGYPHILA 2026 will open on Thursday, Sept. 17, at the Creativa Giza Digital Egypt Innovation Center, bringing together exhibitors, collectors and researchers from Egypt and 11 Arab, European and African countries. The exhibition will run through Sept. 19.

The event is organized by the Egyptian Philatelic Society, representing the Egyptian Federation, under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and Egypt Post.
Hany Salam, chairman of the Egyptian Philatelic Society and head of the organizing committee, is leading preparations for the new edition, which aims to strengthen the presence of stamp collecting in Egypt, encourage communication between collectors and researchers, and attract younger generations to philately.
This year’s exhibition carries particular significance after receiving official recognition from the Federation of European Philatelic Associations, known as FEPA. The recognition places EGYPHILA among accredited regional exhibitions and marks Egypt’s renewed presence on the international map of events dedicated to stamp collecting and postal history.
356 Frames and Diverse Philatelic Displays
The exhibition will feature participants from the United Kingdom, Greece, Croatia, Lebanon, Jordan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Morocco, Libya and Sudan, alongside exhibitors from Egypt.
Around 356 frames will be displayed, including 16 frames dedicated to the Court of Honour. The program will also feature rare philatelic collections and research presentations covering several fields.
Exhibits will include traditional stamps, postal history, postal stationery, picture postcards, airmail stamps, revenue and fiscal stamps, as well as youth displays and philatelic literature.
The president of FEPA and a number of international specialists are also scheduled to attend. The judging panel will include international judges from Egypt, along with a judge from Croatia.
The FEPA flag is also scheduled to be raised inside the exhibition, reflecting the current edition’s accreditation and its inclusion in the agenda of regional philatelic exhibitions.
