Commvault Brings SHIFT 2026 to Cairo, Showcasing Commvault Cloud and the Future of Cyber Resilience
Commvault, a global leader in cyber resilience, is bringing its SHIFT 2026 roadshow to Cairo on September 23, bringing together technology leaders, cybersecurity experts, partners and industry executives to explore how organizations can protect, secure and recover their data in an increasingly complex and AI-driven threat landscape.
At the heart of the Cairo experience will be Commvault Cloud, Commvault’s unified resilience platform, which helps organizations secure, govern and recover workloads through a single interface. Through the SHIFT experience, attendees will Reimagine, Learn, Explore and Connect around the evolving requirements of modern cyber resilience. Commvault Cloud is designed to provide a trusted foundation for organizations as they strengthen their resilience and prepare for the growing demands of AI-driven business.
As businesses face increasingly sophisticated ransomware attacks, evolving cyber threats and the rapid adoption of artificial intelligence, SHIFT Cairo will explore how organizations can strengthen their ability to protect, detect, respond to and recover from disruption while maintaining business continuity. The event will examine the shift from traditional approaches to data protection toward a broader cyber resilience strategy designed for a cloud-first, AI-driven environment.
SHIFT brings together four distinct experiences: Reimagine, through visionary keynotes and thought leadership; Learn, through in-depth cyber resilience education and technical experiences; Explore, through innovation showcases featuring next-generation cyber resilience solutions; and Connect, through engagement with Commvault executives, product leaders, partners and industry peers.
The Cairo event will feature a keynote by Fady Richmany, Corporate Vice President & General Manager, Emerging Markets CEE, CIS and META, Commvault, titled “Cyber Resilience Reimagined in a Shifting Global Threat Environment.” The session will examine the changing global threat landscape and the need for organizations to rethink their approach to data protection, security and recovery.
The agenda will also spotlight Commvault’s technology through sessions including “Commvault Unity, The Next Generation Platform” and “Commvault Cloud Unity: Resilience at Enterprise Scale,” demonstrating how organizations can strengthen resilience across increasingly complex enterprise environments.
A key local highlight will be “Egypt’s Global Centre of Excellence,” led by Mohamed Mortada, Director of Center of Excellence, Commvault. The session will highlight Egypt’s role within Commvault’s global technology ecosystem and the capabilities and expertise being developed in the country.
The event will further bring together Commvault’s technology ecosystem, with sessions featuring Everpure, Microsoft and ExaGrid. These discussions will highlight the importance of collaboration across the technology ecosystem in helping organizations strengthen cyber resilience, protect critical environments and prepare for emerging risks.
The event will feature a dedicated session by EverPure, led by Ali Hassib, Country Leader of EverPure, “Empower Your Next Generation Cyber Resiliency with EverPure and Commvault.” The session will explore how the collaboration between EverPure and Commvault can help organizations enhance their cyber resilience capabilities, strengthen data protection and recovery, and better prepare for the evolving challenges of today’s increasingly complex digital and threat landscape.
As ransomware continues to challenge organizations worldwide, a panel of industry leaders and executives will explore “Building True Cyber Resilience in the Age of Ransomware,” examining how businesses can move beyond traditional backup strategies toward a comprehensive approach to protection, detection, response and recovery.
Artificial intelligence will also be a key focus of the event. Adel Abdel Hamid, Regional Partner Solution Sales Manager Africa, Microsoft, will take part in the session “Building Resilient AI: The Power of Microsoft & Commvault,” exploring the importance of resilience as organizations increasingly integrate AI into their operations and technology environments.
The program will also feature “Commvault & ExaGrid: SHIFT from Backup to Cyber Resilience,” followed by a strategic discussion with leading Egyptian system integrators focused on the role of partnerships in supporting organizations and strengthening the local technology ecosystem.
Through Commvault Cloud, Commvault is advancing its approach to cyber resilience by bringing together capabilities across data protection, cyber recovery, identity resilience, data and AI security, and AI data resilience. The platform is designed to help organizations secure, govern and recover their workloads while enabling them to adopt AI with greater confidence.
SHIFT’s broader vision is centered on the shift from continuous threats to continuous business, reflecting the growing need for organizations to build resilience into their cloud-first and AI-driven environments. Commvault positions this shift around platform innovation, an expanded partner ecosystem and a more comprehensive approach to cyber resilience.
The event will conclude with SHIFT Connect, a dedicated networking experience bringing together executives, partners, customers and industry peers for conversations around the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of cyber resilience.
Through SHIFT Cairo, Commvault will strengthen its engagement with Egypt’s technology and cybersecurity community, creating opportunities for knowledge exchange, technical learning and collaboration while demonstrating how organizations can prepare for an increasingly complex cyber threat landscape.
