The US dollar exchange rate remained stable against the Egyptian pound on Friday, September 11, 2026, with the Central Bank of Egypt recording EGP 51.27 for buying and EGP 51.41 for selling.
Meanwhile, the yield on 10-year US Treasury bonds stabilized at 4.8407%, after reaching its highest level since 2023 in the previous session. The movement came after the US Treasury Department announced a $6 billion buyback program for long-term bonds, a move that disappointed some investors.
At the National Bank of Egypt (NBE), the dollar was priced at EGP 51.27 for buying and EGP 51.37 for selling. The same rates were recorded at Banque Misr and Commercial International Bank (CIB).
