MCIT Concludes Soft Skills Training Program Under ‘Tawar w Ghayar’ Initiative
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) has concluded the Soft and Employment Skills Training program, held from August 30 to September 3, as part of the Tawar w Ghayar (Develop and Change) initiative. The program is designed to equip young people with the personal and professional skills required to meet the demands of the labor market.
Participants included students, graduates, and job seekers. They gained a set of practical skills to help them present themselves professionally and compete more effectively for employment opportunities.
The training addressed several core areas, including how to identify suitable job opportunities, prepare a professional CV, perform well in interviews, manage time effectively, solve problems, make sound decisions, communicate effectively, and negotiate persuasively.
Tawar w Ghayar is implemented in partnership between MCIT, Microsoft, and CARE Egypt Foundation. The initiative provides young people with a comprehensive path to employability, extending beyond digital and technical skills to include the personal and professional competencies that underpin employment, freelance work, and entrepreneurship.
