Fixed Egypt (FEDIS) Renews ISO 27001 Certification for Third Consecutive Year, Highlighting Expanding Digital Portfolio

Fixed Egypt for Digital Solutions and Information Security (FEDIS) has successfully renewed its ISO 27001 certification for the third consecutive year. This milestone underscores the company’s unwavering commitment to implementing rigorous international standards in information security and data protection, further cementing its competitive edge in the digital solutions and cybersecurity markets.

The ISO 27001 standard is globally recognized as a premier benchmark for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). It focuses on establishing a comprehensive framework for risk management, data protection, and business continuity, thereby providing clients and strategic partners with heightened confidence in the organization's ability to process and manage data securely and systematically.

A Strategic Commitment to Compliance and Security

Eng. Mohamed Ahmed Abdel Halim, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Fixed Egypt, stated that securing the renewal for a third year is the direct result of the team's continuous efforts to upgrade operational procedures, enhance efficiency, and elevate compliance frameworks. He emphasized that obtaining and maintaining this accreditation is deeply embedded in the company’s long-term strategy, rather than treated as a temporary milestone.

This achievement aligns with the company’s extensive track record in executing critical national digital infrastructure projects. FEDIS has been instrumental in deploying robust security and technological requirements for major institutions, most notably through its contributions to the "Digital Egypt" platform—a cornerstone of the government's digital transformation ecosystem. The company also specializes in digital identity and secure user verification frameworks, facilitating safer and more accessible digital public services for citizens.

Beyond public administration, Fixed Egypt has expanded its footprint into the healthcare sector, participating in the National Project for the Automation and Management of Renal Dialysis, which supports digital transformation and operational efficiency in health services.

Expanding E-Signature and Tech Solutions

In the realm of digital trust, Fixed Egypt holds a license to provide e-signature services and has secured an operating permit from the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA). This authorization covers electronic certification, e-seals, time-stamping, and its bespoke "Tawkiai" e-signature services, aiming to widen the accessibility of digital signature tools for both individuals and corporations.

The company’s broader portfolio encompasses specialized solutions in digital identity, FinTech, cybersecurity, Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), secure hosting, and bespoke software development.

Abdel Halim concluded that the ISO 27001 renewal reaffirms the company's dedication to the highest standards of quality and information security. He highlighted that FEDIS continues to invest heavily in its technical and human capabilities to keep pace with rapid shifts in the technology and cybersecurity landscape, ensuring that Egyptian institutions are fully supported in executing their digital transformation journeys safely and sustainably.
