TIEC Innovation Ambassadors Participate in Vibe Coding Arena 2026
TIEC Innovation Ambassadors have participated in the Vibe Coding Arena 2026 – Cairo HackDay, hosted by Arab Open University (AOU) and organized by the AWS Student Builder Group on August 20, bringing together 15 participating teams.
The event included an AI-powered hackathon that gave student developers the opportunity to turn their ideas into real, viable projects and solutions through an intensive coding sprint within a limited timeframe. The hackathon focused on leveraging modern AI-powered development tools to identify problems and develop innovative solutions. It brings together coding, artificial intelligence (AI), creativity, and teamwork, giving participants hands-on experience in rapidly building and developing technology products.
For their role, the Innovation Ambassadors contributed to the projects’ evaluation from a business perspective. They offered practical guidance and feedback that helped teams refine their ideas and strengthen the commercial potential of their projects.
The event recognized the top teams for their projects. Other teams received the Mentorship Sessions Award, Google Prize for their use of Gemini API, and an internship opportunity with the InfoSec4TC platform, giving winners the chance to gain hands-on experience and further develop their technical and professional
skills.
The Innovation Ambassadors’ participation reflects the efforts of TIEC, part of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), to strengthen the role of its ambassadors and encourage their active engagement in technology-focused events and initiatives within their local communities. Through these efforts, the Center seeks to support young people and entrepreneurs, facilitate knowledge and experience sharing, promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, and contribute to building a more innovative technology and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
