The National Bank of Egypt (NBE) has handed over prizes to the winning customers of its promotional campaign for savings products, dubbed "A Golden Opportunity" (Forsa Men Dahab). The rewards featured gold bullion bars ranging in weight from 10 grams and 100 grams up to one kilogram of gold.
Karim Sous, CEO of Retail Banking at NBE, stated that the promotional campaign underscores the bank's commitment to supporting its customers and incentivizing them to cultivate consistent saving habits, which ultimately contributes to enhancing sustainable financial stability.
He noted that the initiative aligns with the bank's broader efforts to deliver products and services that meet the diverse needs of all customer segments while continually improving the overall customer experience and simplifying access to banking services.
These service enhancements include the ability to book branch appointments online, allowing customers to select their preferred branch and time slot. Additionally, customers can leverage the "Al Ahly Net" and "Al Ahly Mobile" applications to seamlessly purchase savings certificates, make deposits, and execute transfers. Sous also highlighted the free e-statement service available across NBE's digital platforms, enabling customers to easily monitor all their transactions while eliminating the need for traditional paper statements.
Furthermore, Sous explained that NBE offers a comprehensive suite of savings products with various tenors and currencies tailored to customer needs. At the forefront of these offerings is the "Al Ahly Daily" account, alongside term deposits that yield returns at flexible frequencies or upon maturity.
He also highlighted the bank's flagship Platinum Certificates—available with fixed, variable, or stepped yields. The remarkable growth of the certificates portfolio reflects the deep trust customers place in NBE's savings products, which can also be utilized as collateral to secure various credit facilities, including personal loans and credit cards.
