The Alpha Talks Show Expands to Egypt Through VASBOX Partnership

The Alpha Talks Show is expanding into Egypt through a strategic partnership with digital content company VASBOX, bringing the Dubai-based interview platform into a market the show’s founder and host, Egyptian businessman Seif El Hakim, describes as rich in untold stories of ambition, resilience and leadership.

The new Alpha Talks Show – Egypt Edition will feature influential figures from across business, technology, media, culture and other industries, but the format is deliberately being built around more than career milestones or public achievements.

Instead, the conversations will focus on what came before the visible success: the difficult decisions, failures, sacrifices, pressure, personal values and turning points that shaped each guest.

The partnership combines The Alpha Talks Show’s existing regional audience and interview format with VASBOX’s production, distribution, digital marketing, technology and commercial capabilities in Egypt.

A Dubai-born format comes home

The Alpha Talks Show has published more than 250 episodes and accumulated over 100 million views across its content, establishing a regional audience around conversations covering business, lifestyle, influence and personal journeys.

The show is hosted by Seif El Hakim, Chairman of Alpha Group, an Egyptian businessman and media personality whose career has taken him across Egypt, the UAE, South Korea, Russia, Turkey and Iraq.

Before building his own business and media platforms, El Hakim served as Regional Chief Marketing Officer for Russia and the CIS at Samsung Electronics. He is also an author and keynote speaker.

That international career has influenced the interview format itself.

Rather than treating senior titles as the conclusion of a guest’s story, The Alpha Talks Show typically works backwards, examining the experiences and decisions that helped produce the person audiences eventually came to know.

The Egypt Edition will retain that approach while developing conversations specifically around Egyptian personalities and experiences.

VASBOX brings a large distribution engine

VASBOX will support the development, production, distribution and commercial growth of the new edition through a digital content network that extends well beyond a conventional production company.

Its portfolio includes more than 1,000 artists, creators, presenters and religious scholars, alongside more than 8,000 digital and audio assets.

The company also has relationships with over 50 digital platforms and 25 telecommunications operators, has worked on more than 100 advertising and marketing campaigns, and has experience managing more than 25 events and conferences.

That infrastructure gives the Egypt Edition a ready-made distribution and commercialization layer as it enters the market, while allowing the show to reach audiences through multiple digital channels rather than relying on a single video platform.

Haytham Saeed, Co-Founder and CEO of VASBOX, said the partnership brings together an established media format with the company’s capabilities across content, technology and distribution.

“We believe in meaningful digital content that creates genuine value and lasting engagement,” Saeed said.

“Our goal is to help build an edition that can reach audiences at scale while connecting people, stories, ideas and opportunities across the region.”

El Hakim wants the story before the success

For El Hakim, launching an Egyptian edition carries a more personal significance than simply entering another regional market.

“As an Egyptian, launching the Egypt Edition carries a very special meaning for me,” he said. “Egypt is full of extraordinary people, ambition, talent, resilience, creativity, and stories that deserve to be heard.”

His approach also explains the choice of “Alpha” in the show’s identity.

The concept is not being limited to chief executives or business founders. The Egypt Edition is expected to feature influential personalities from different sectors and backgrounds whose experiences can produce lessons beyond their professional titles.

“The Alpha Talks Show has never been only about business or celebrating the final result of success,” El Hakim said.

“I want to understand what happened before the success — the decisions, failures, pressure, lessons, sacrifices, turning points, and wisdom earned along the way.”

With the Egyptian edition, he added, the ambition is to “go beyond the title or public image to reveal the journey, the wisdom, and ultimately the human behind the Alpha.”

First season to cross industries

The first season is expected to feature a curated lineup of Egyptian guests drawn from different industries and backgrounds.

No guest list has yet been announced, but the format is being designed to avoid becoming a conventional executive interview series focused solely on corporate results or business achievements.

Instead, the show intends to use each guest’s career as an entry point into broader conversations around leadership, failure, decision-making and the personal cost of building influence or success.

That positioning could prove important in an increasingly crowded Arabic podcast and digital interview market, where long-form conversations with founders, executives and public figures have become a major content category.

For The Alpha Talks Show, Egypt is therefore more than another geographic extension.

It is an opportunity to localize a format built overseas around the founder’s home market, while using VASBOX’s distribution network to take those Egyptian stories back to a wider regional audience.
