Up to 70% Off and Four-Year Payment Plans: Inside Souhoola’s Latest Offers

Egyptian consumer finance platform Souhoola has rolled out a new round of installment offers spanning electronics, everyday purchases and even gold, as competition among consumer finance providers increasingly shifts toward longer repayment periods and lower upfront costs.

The latest offers include payment plans of up to 48 months, discounts of as much as 70% on selected products and interest reductions of up to 50%, depending on the merchant and financing plan.

Souhoola is offering the promotions through several retail partners, including Raneen, Waffarha, Dahab Zaman and Dream 2000, with the terms varying considerably between each offer.

Raneen: Electronics over 24 months

Customers purchasing electronics online through Raneen can spread their payments over as long as 24 months.

The offer requires no down payment and carries no administrative fees, while customers can receive a discount of up to 50% on interest.

Raneen itself sells a broad range of products through its digital platform, including home appliances, electronics, laptops, furniture, kitchen products and other household items.

Waffarha: 24 months with lower financing costs

A similar structure is available for purchases made through Waffarha.

Souhoola customers can finance eligible purchases for up to 24 months without making a down payment or paying administrative fees.

The offer also provides a discount of up to 50% on interest, reducing the financing cost for customers choosing eligible installment plans.

Dahab Zaman: Gold joins the installment list

One of the more unusual offers extends consumer financing to gold purchases.

Customers buying gold from Dahab Zaman can spread the cost over as long as 24 months without a down payment or administrative fees.

Unlike the Raneen and Waffarha promotions, however, this is not an interest-discount offer. The financing carries a monthly interest rate of 2%, according to the published terms.

The inclusion of gold illustrates how Egypt’s consumer finance market is moving well beyond its traditional concentration on electronics, appliances and durable goods.

Dream 2000: The longest payment plan — but with a catch

The most aggressive promotion in the latest package comes through Dream 2000.

Selected products are being offered at discounts of up to 70%, while customers can finance their purchases over periods ranging from 36 to 48 months without a down payment.

The four-year repayment period makes it the longest installment option among the four highlighted offers.

There is, however, an important condition: customers taking advantage of the promotion are not allowed to make an early settlement during the financing period under the offer’s terms.

It is also a particularly short promotion, running only from August 27 to August 29, 2026.

Souhoola is stretching beyond electronics

The range of offers reflects how consumer finance platforms are trying to capture a larger share of household spending.

Souhoola, an Egyptian consumer finance company operating since 2019, provides financing for categories extending beyond retail products to services including education, travel, healthcare and insurance.

Its platform generally supports installment periods of up to 60 months for eligible purchases, although the actual repayment period, interest rate and fees depend on the individual product and offer.

The company has also expanded its digital onboarding and account-management capabilities. Customers can manage payments and transaction history through its app, scan QR codes for purchases and use biometric authentication, while debit and credit cards can be saved for monthly installment payments.

The headline discount does not tell the whole story

The latest promotions show why installment offers need to be compared on more than repayment length or the headline discount.

Raneen and Waffarha offer up to 50% reductions on interest, Dahab Zaman applies a 2% monthly interest rate, while the Dream 2000 promotion combines a product discount of up to 70% with a much longer 36-to-48-month repayment schedule and restrictions on early settlement.

For customers, that makes the total financing cost, administrative charges, repayment period and early-settlement conditions as important as the advertised discount itself.

The offers are available through Souhoola’s app and remain subject to the eligibility requirements and terms applied by the company and participating merchants.
