TrendAI brings a new identity - and a new AI security agenda - to FDC Summit 2026
One of the most familiar names in enterprise cybersecurity is arriving at FDC Summit 2026 under a new identity.
TrendAI, the new name of Trend Micro’s enterprise cybersecurity business, reflects a wider strategic shift inside the company as artificial intelligence moves from being another technology protected by security teams to becoming one of the main forces reshaping the entire cybersecurity market.
Trend Micro continues to operate as the parent company and legal entity, but TrendAI now represents its enterprise business, with a sharper focus on helping organizations deploy artificial intelligence without creating new blind spots across users, data, endpoints, cloud infrastructure and autonomous agents.
That transformation gives TrendAI a timely story for FDC Summit 2026, as companies across the region begin asking a more complicated question than simply how to use generative AI.
They now need to understand how to secure it.
Vision One becomes the center of the new strategy
At the heart of TrendAI’s enterprise portfolio is TrendAI Vision One, an adaptive cybersecurity platform designed to combine security information and controls across endpoints, networks, cloud environments and identities.
The platform is built around reducing the fragmentation that has become one of the biggest problems facing large security teams.
Many enterprises have accumulated dozens of security products over time, each producing alerts and operating with its own data.
TrendAI is attempting to bring more of that information into one environment, using AI to correlate activity, prioritize risks and help security teams focus on the threats most likely to cause real business impact.

That means endpoint security is no longer simply about detecting malware on a device.
Security teams increasingly need to understand how employees are interacting with AI, what data is being shared and whether unapproved tools are entering business workflows.
Attacks can now be personalized in minutes
TrendAI’s research also illustrates how AI is changing the offensive side of cybersecurity.
In February, its researchers demonstrated how publicly available information could be transformed into a highly tailored attack profile in around 30 minutes, showing how AI-driven open-source intelligence can automate a process that once required far more manual research.
For attackers, this makes personalization scalable.
Instead of sending the same phishing message to thousands of people, AI can help analyze professional profiles, company information and other public data to produce more convincing approaches for individual targets.
For defenders, that makes traditional employee awareness more difficult.
A poorly written phishing email is easy to recognize.
A message built specifically around a person’s job, colleagues and recent professional activity is far more dangerous.
NVIDIA partnership targets AI infrastructure
TrendAI is also looking beyond enterprise applications to the infrastructure on which artificial intelligence runs.
In June, the company detailed work with NVIDIA DOCA aimed at building isolated security architecture for AI infrastructure and what are increasingly described as AI factories.
The objective is to apply security closer to high-performance AI environments rather than depending entirely on controls positioned elsewhere in the network.
TrendAI has since joined NVIDIA’s Open Secure AI Alliance, an initiative focused on developing standards and approaches for protecting AI systems and infrastructure.
This reflects how large the AI security market is becoming.
Organizations need to secure not only the software employees use, but also the models, GPUs, data pipelines, agents and supporting infrastructure underneath them.
Cybersecurity is becoming proactive
There is another important element behind TrendAI’s repositioning.
The company is increasingly emphasizing proactive security, rather than waiting for an attacker to trigger a traditional security alert.
Its latest work combines vulnerability information, threat research, exploit intelligence and business context to help enterprises identify which risks are most likely to be actively exploited.
In August, TrendAI said it was deepening its use of the US Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog alongside its own Zero Day Initiative research and AI-assisted prioritization.

Trend Micro built much of its reputation protecting endpoints, servers and cloud workloads.
