SCZONE and Techno Bond Sign $50M Egyptian-Saudi Deal for Industrial Aluminum Complex in Sokhna

Mostafa Sheikhoun, Chairman of the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE), attended the official signing ceremony of an Egyptian-Saudi joint investment contract with Techno Bond. The project involves establishing an advanced industrial complex dedicated to manufacturing various types of aluminum cladding panels and aluminum coils in the Sokhna Industrial Zone, with targeted investments reaching $50 million.

The facility is located within the development zone of the Main Development Company (MDC), spanning an area of 25,000 square meters. The initial investment phase is valued at $18 million, scaling up to the targeted $50 million as operational capacity expands.

The first phase of the complex is projected to create approximately 200 direct jobs, with Techno Bond aiming to commence commercial operations and manufacturing by the end of 2027.

The agreement was signed by Major General Walid Youssef, Managing Director of MDC, alongside Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Shalawi and Dr. Kamel Al-Far, co-founders of Techno Bond, in the presence of senior SCZONE executives and corporate representatives.
