Furniture Export Council: 5% Export Growth in H1 2026 and a Comprehensive Promotional Plan for H2 2026

Eng. Ihab Derias, Chairman of the Furniture Export Council (FEC), announced that Egypt's furniture sector exports achieved a 5% growth from January to June 2026 compared to the same period last year. Derias stated that this growth rate is highly acceptable given the current regional economic challenges and geopolitical events.

In a press release issued today, Derias highlighted that the council plans to intensify its promotional activities throughout the second half of 2026, building on the momentum of successful buyers' missions organized in May alongside the Cafex, Hottiler, and TDS exhibitions in collaboration with the Egypt Expo and Convention Authority (EECA).
