Catalyst Partners Middle East (CPME) announced its audited consolidated financial results for the first half of 2026, ended June 30, 2026, reflecting continued progress in expanding its integrated financial services, non-banking financial institution (NBFI), and technology-enabled financing platform.

During H1 2026, CPME continued to develop its operating platform across investment banking, leasing and factoring, private equity and impact investing, fund services, custody, and digital financing, following the Group’s acquisitions of Catalyst Partners Holding and Qardy for Software Applications.

For the six-month period ended June 30, 2026, CPME recorded total consolidated revenues of EGP 313.3 million, including EGP 309.8 million in operating revenues. Net profit after tax reached EGP 117.1 million, while basic earnings per share amounted to EGP 0.39.

As of June 30, 2026, CPME reported total assets of EGP 4.28 billion and total equity, including non-controlling interests, of approximately EGP 3.16 billion, reflecting a strong capital base to support the continued development of its operating subsidiaries and future growth initiatives.

The Group’s H1 2026 performance was primarily supported by its Investment Banking and Leasing & Factoring businesses. Investment Banking generated approximately EGP 202.8 million in fees, comprising EGP 137.4 million in success fees and EGP 65.4 million in retainer fees. This represented approximately 64.7% of consolidated revenues and 96.5% of fee and commission income during the period.

Of the total Investment Banking fees, approximately 88.7% were denominated in foreign currency, primarily USD, equivalent to EGP 179.8 million, while 11.3% were denominated in Egyptian pounds, amounting to EGP 23.0 million.

Commenting on the results, Ibrahim El-Zeiny, Group Chief Financial Officer of Catalyst Partners Middle East, said: “H1 2026 marks an important period in CPME’s development as an integrated financial-services and NBFI platform. The Group delivered strong profitability while continuing to scale its core operating businesses, strengthen its institutional infrastructure and advance integration across the platform. We remain focused on disciplined capital allocation, sustainable growth and building long-term value for our shareholders.”

As part of its efforts to enhance its corporate structure and facilitate trading opportunities for its shares, CPME’s Board of Directors is working to expand the scope of advisory services provided by the independent financial advisor to include the valuation work required to enable trading of the company’s shares by all market participants, in accordance with the rules and procedures governing listing and trading on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

CPME’s balance sheet remained well capitalized at the end of the period, with EGP 3.02 billion in issued and paid-in capital and total shareholders’ equity of approximately EGP 3.16 billion. Total liabilities stood at approximately EGP 1.12 billion, reflecting continued funding of growth in the Group’s leasing and factoring receivables portfolio and the expansion of its operating footprint.
