The Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA), through its dedicated committee for reviewing financial technology applications headed by Dr. Islam Azzam, has granted official approval to two companies to conduct diverse Non-Banking Financial Activities (NBFA) utilizing fintech solutions.

The approvals align with the FRA’s ongoing strategy to enhance the efficiency and competitiveness of its regulated sectors. By expanding the scope of tech-driven financial services, the Authority aims to boost investment attractiveness and broaden the base of financial inclusion and beneficiaries across the Egyptian market.
