Omar Radwan, Chairman of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX), reviewed the latest market performance developments and promising investment opportunities for Kuwaiti investors during a recent virtual seminar. The event was organized by the Egyptian Commercial Representation Office at the Egyptian Embassy in Kuwait in collaboration with the Union of Investment Companies (UIC) in Kuwait, aiming to bolster economic cooperation and attract further joint investments between the two nations.
The seminar featured high-profile participation, including Mohamed Sabry, EGX Vice Chairman; Ambassador Mohamed Gaber Abul Wafa, Egypt's Ambassador to Kuwait; Nashwa Salah, Minister Plenipotentiary for Trade; Abdullah Hamad Al-Terkait, Chairman of the UIC in Kuwait; and Essam Breiqa, Head of the Egyptian Commercial Office in Kuwait, alongside a host of prominent Kuwaiti investors.

Al-Terkait highlighted that more than 1,800 Kuwaiti companies currently invest in Egypt, a figure that strongly reflects the confidence Kuwaiti investors place in the Egyptian economy. He also anticipated a new phase of bilateral cooperation in various economic and investment fields in the near future.
The seminar aligns with the ongoing strategic coordination between the EGX, the Commercial Representation Authority, and the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade to drive Arab and foreign capital flows into the Egyptian market.
