Trump International Hotel & Tower Dubai Moves Ahead With Construction on Sheikh Zayed Road

Construction of the Trump International Hotel & Tower Dubai is progressing in line with the approved schedule, advancing work on one of the latest ultra-luxury additions to the city’s rapidly evolving skyline.

Rising 350 metres across 80 floors, the mixed-use tower is being developed by London-listed Dar Global in partnership with The Trump Organization at a prominent site on Sheikh Zayed Road near the entrance to Downtown Dubai.

The project combines a luxury hotel with high-end residences and The Trump, an exclusive members-only private club, positioning the development at the intersection of Dubai’s hospitality and branded-residence markets.

Preparatory and foundation works are being handled by Edrafor Emirates, which was awarded the enabling works contract as the development moved into its construction phase. The scope covers the site preparation and foundation works required ahead of full structural construction.

Among the tower’s standout features will be an outdoor swimming pool planned at a height that the developer says will make it the highest of its kind in Dubai, alongside panoramic views of the Burj Khalifa and the surrounding cityscape.

The development will also include two ultra-luxury penthouses drawing design inspiration from Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue in New York, while the residential component will occupy the upper levels of the skyscraper.

The tower was unveiled in 2025 as part of Dar Global’s expanding portfolio of branded luxury developments and represents the company’s first collaboration with The Trump Organization in Dubai.

Current industry data lists the project as under construction, with completion expected in 2031. At 350 metres, the tower is set to become one of Dubai’s tallest mixed-use hotel and residential developments upon completion.

The project adds to a growing pipeline of branded residences and luxury hospitality developments reshaping Sheikh Zayed Road and central Dubai, as developers continue to target international buyers seeking properties tied to globally recognised hospitality and lifestyle brands.
