Haval Jolion Prices Rise in Egypt, Entry Model Now Starts at EGP 985,000
Haval Jolion has become the latest locally assembled model to see a price adjustment in Egypt, with GB Auto raising prices of the 2027 model year by up to EGP 35,000 across its three available trims.
Following the increase, the locally assembled compact SUV now starts at EGP 985,000 for the entry-level version, while the second trim is priced at EGP 1.035 million and the range-topping version reaches EGP 1.135 million.
The new pricing comes as Haval continues to compete in Egypt’s increasingly crowded compact SUV segment, where locally assembled models have become an important part of manufacturers’ strategies to strengthen availability and improve their positioning in the market.
Turbo Power and Seven-Speed DCT
The Jolion is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine producing 148 horsepower and 220 Nm of torque, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The SUV measures 4,472 mm in length and 1,841 mm in width, with a height of 1,619 mm and a 2,700 mm wheelbase, giving it proportions designed to balance cabin space with everyday urban usability.
Safety Technology Expands on Higher Trims
Standard safety equipment includes anti-lock braking, electronic brake-force distribution, electronic stability control and traction control, alongside hill-start and hill-descent assistance.
Higher specifications add as many as six airbags and a broader suite of driver-assistance technologies, including forward collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning and lane-keeping assistance.
The flagship version further adds blind-spot monitoring, traffic-jam assistance, a 360-degree surround-view camera and an automated parking system.
Inside, the Jolion offers a 14.6-inch infotainment display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, alongside a digital instrument cluster of up to seven inches.
Depending on the trim, buyers can also get dual-zone automatic climate control, leather upholstery, heated front seats, an electrically adjustable driver’s seat, wireless smartphone charging and a panoramic sunroof.
The latest EGP 35,000 increase takes the Jolion’s starting price closer to the EGP 1 million threshold, while keeping all three locally assembled variants within a relatively narrow EGP 150,000 price range.
