Mohamed Salah Close to Trabzonspor Move in €17 Million Deal, Turkish Reports Suggest

Egyptian star Mohamed Salah has once again taken center stage in the summer transfer market. According to Turkish reports, the forward is close to joining Trabzonspor in a deal that could grant him an annual salary of €17 million, following the collapse of earlier negotiations with Besiktas over financial disagreements.

Initial Agreement and Private Jet on Standby

Turkish newspaper Sabah Sport revealed that Trabzonspor has reached an "initial agreement" with Salah regarding the €17 million annual salary, in addition to a package of performance and title-based incentives.

The report indicates that the remaining negotiations are confined to purely technical details, most notably the payment scheduling and minor secondary clauses within the proposed two-year contract. The newspaper added that upon the official signing of the contract, the club is prepared to dispatch a private jet to transport Salah from Greece to finalize his onboarding procedures.

Details of Trabzonspor's Offer

Trabzonspor actively entered the transfer race after Salah's talks with Besiktas hit a roadblock. Both Turkish clubs had shown immense interest in securing the services of the prolific former Liverpool top scorer, but Trabzonspor now appears positioned to finalize the marquee signing.
