Gold Prices in Egypt Dip Slightly on August 3 Despite Global Market Gains

Gold prices in Egypt witnessed a slight decline at the start of trading on Monday, August 3, 2026, despite the yellow metal's upward trajectory on the global exchange.

Globally, gold prices rose on Monday as oil prices retreated. This shift occurred after U.S. President Donald Trump called off a new strike on Iran in hopes of reaching a swift agreement, a move that slightly eased market concerns regarding inflation and potential interest rate hikes.
