Aldar Properties Reports 18% Surge in H1 2026 Net Profit to AED 4.9 Billion Driven by Strong International Demand

Aldar Properties, listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), reported strong financial results for the first half of 2026. The performance was driven by sustained demand for its real estate projects in the UAE, the expansion of its investment and international businesses, and strategic project launches in Abu Dhabi.

Financial Highlights

Net Profit (After Tax): Rose 18% year-on-year to reach AED 4.9 billion.

Revenue: Increased by 8% YoY to AED 16.8 billion, supported by revenue recognition from active development projects and robust performance across its investment property portfolio.

Earnings Per Share (EPS): Advanced 17% to AED 0.53.

Development Sales: Reached AED 12.1 billion, reflecting the company's demand-driven launch strategy.

Robust International Buyer Interest and High Revenue Backlog

International and UAE-resident buyers continued to drive demand for Aldar's developments, accounting for AED 7.6 billion in sales during H1 2026—representing 80% of total sales within the UAE. This underscores the ongoing appeal of Abu Dhabi's real estate market to global investors.

By the end of June 2026, Aldar's development revenue backlog stood at AED 71.6 billion, with AED 59.9 billion generated from UAE projects, providing clear revenue visibility over the next two to three years.

Aldar's international subsidiaries significantly boosted group performance during the six-month period:

SODIC (Egypt): Development sales jumped by 171% year-on-year.

London Square (UK): Sales surged by 236% year-on-year.
