Palm Hills Developments Obtains FRA Approval to Add Hotel and Tourism Construction to Business Scope

 The Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) has approved the publication of a disclosure report submitted by Palm Hills Developments regarding amendments to its articles of association. The proposed modification adds the construction of hotels and tourism facilities to the company's official corporate purpose, pursuant to Article 48 of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) listing and delisting rules.

Palm Hills explained that the amendment aligns with its operational footprint inside and outside Egypt, supporting its strategic expansion plans into the hospitality and tourism infrastructure sectors.

Capital Structure and Corporate Impact

The financial structure of Palm Hills Developments includes:

Authorized Capital: EGP 10 billion.

Issued Capital: Approximately EGP 5.579 billion, distributed across nearly 2.789 billion shares with a nominal value of EGP 2.00 per share.

The company confirmed that expanding its corporate scope will have no adverse impact on its existing obligations, shareholder rights, or equity.

Q1 2026 Financial Results

Separately, Palm Hills reported a 21.6% decrease in net profit for the first quarter of 2026, recording EGP 1.205 billion, down from EGP 1.539 billion in the corresponding period of 2025.
