US Dollar Holds Stable Above EGP 51 Baseline in Early Egyptian Trading

 The US Dollar held relatively stable against the Egyptian Pound (EGP) during early trading on Monday, July 27, 2026, according to the latest foreign exchange updates across public and private banks in Egypt.

The stability follows mild fluctuations recorded during Sunday's session, where the greenback experienced mixed movements across local financial institutions while remaining comfortably above the EGP 51 baseline.

Key USD/EGP Exchange Rates:

Central Bank of Egypt (CBE): Recorded EGP 51.26 for buying and EGP 51.36 for selling.

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB): Stood at EGP 51.29 for buying and EGP 51.39 for selling.

Bank of Alexandria: Stood at EGP 51.20 for buying and EGP 51.30 for selling.

Arab Currency Rates Against the Egyptian Pound

Major regional currencies also maintained consistent levels across major banks:

Saudi Riyal (SAR): Traded at EGP 13.62 buying / EGP 13.68 selling at the National Bank of Egypt (NBE), and EGP 13.66 buying / EGP 13.68 selling at ADIB.
