Through its 2025 Sustainability Report, OPPO showcased the progress achieved across its five-pillar sustainability framework covering Operations and Compliance, Environmental Protection, Caring for Employees, Virtuous Innovation, and Ecosystem Engagement. The framework reflects the company's commitment to embedding sustainability into every stage of its business while delivering technologies that create lasting value for users and communities alike.
In 2025, OPPO advanced its green and low-carbon strategy by completing product life cycle assessments for 23 smartphone models to better understand and reduce environmental impact across sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, usage, and recycling. The company also continued expanding the use of recycled materials across its packaging, with recycled wastepaper accounting for approximately 43% of smartphone packaging materials by weight.
In parallel, OPPO continued advancing its low-carbon operations by achieving a further 1.22% year-on-year reduction in carbon emissions from its own operations, while renewable electricity usage across its manufacturing bases increased by nearly 70%, reflecting the company's ongoing commitment to building a more resource-efficient and environmentally responsible operating model.
