Sprints and Barq Systems Launch AI Internship Program for Egyptian Graduates
Egyptian edtech company Sprints has partnered with technology solutions provider Barq Systems to launch a practical artificial intelligence internship program aimed at preparing recent graduates for specialist roles in the technology sector.
The initiative is designed to narrow the gap between academic education and employers’ day-to-day requirements by giving participants hands-on experience in developing and applying AI technologies within a professional working environment.
Through the program, graduates will gain practical skills intended to help them move more quickly into the labor market, as technology companies increasingly seek candidates who can contribute from the beginning of their employment rather than relying solely on theoretical knowledge.
The partnership also responds to a wider challenge facing Egypt’s technology industry. While the country has a large pool of young talent, the number of structured training opportunities remains limited compared with the number of graduates entering the market each year.
Barq Systems will support the program by providing a workplace environment in which participants can apply their technical knowledge and develop skills aligned with real business needs. The company also offers support arrangements for trainees and employees during periods of military service, as part of its efforts to build longer-term career pathways for young professionals.
