Ajman Launches UAE’s First ‘Invisible’ Government Service Powered by Agentic AI
The Government of Ajman has introduced the UAE's first "invisible" government service powered by Agentic AI, marking a major step toward proactive digital public services that anticipate users' needs instead of waiting for them to initiate transactions.
The new model enables government services to recognize when a transaction is due, prepare the required procedures automatically, obtain the user's approval, and coordinate the necessary steps across multiple government entities with minimal effort from the customer. The initiative reflects a broader shift from traditional digital services to AI-driven, event-based government experiences.
The first application of the system focuses on commercial license renewals. Business owners receive an automatic notification before their licenses expire and are directed to an AI assistant within the AjmanOne unified government app, where the renewal process is completed through a streamlined digital journey. If the renewal requires an updated commercial lease, the system automatically guides users through that process before continuing the license renewal without requiring them to navigate between different government agencies.
Ajman's digital authorities said the initiative is designed around a "human-first" approach, with artificial intelligence handling administrative complexity behind the scenes while users retain control over key decisions. The platform is supported by an integrated framework for data governance, cybersecurity, system interoperability, and human oversight to ensure secure and reliable service delivery.
The launch aligns with the UAE's broader strategy to accelerate the adoption of Agentic AI across government operations. Earlier this year, the federal government announced plans to transform 50% of government services and operational processes into AI-driven autonomous workflows over the next two years, reinforcing the country's ambition to become a global leader in next-generation digital government.
