Abu Dhabi”s AIREV Partners with Redington Gulf to Distribute Sovereign AI Platform ”OnDemand” Across GCC and Africa
AIREV, the Abu Dhabi-based developer of the autonomous artificial intelligence platform "OnDemand," has announced the signing of a major distribution agreement with Redington Gulf. Under this partnership, Redington has been appointed as the authorized distributor for the platform across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and all African markets.
Redington is recognized as one of the world's largest technology distribution companies, boasting consolidated revenues of approximately $13.5 billion for the 2026 financial year. Its operations across the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa generated $5.7 billion in revenue last year alone.
Developed in strategic collaboration with Intel, this partnership brings together advanced AI-optimized computing hardware, sovereign-ready AI software, and one of the region's most robust distribution networks into a unified channel tailored for enterprise clients.
Under the agreement, Redington will market, sell, and distribute the OnDemand Enterprise edition through three distinct deployment models: standalone software, self-hosted, and cloud-hosted. Additionally, it will provide implementation and integration services, custom AI agent development, and multi-tier technical support through its partner channels.
H.E. Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade and Chairman of AIREV, emphasized that the UAE’s ambition extends beyond merely developing advanced technologies locally. "Our goal is to deploy these innovations with our key trade and investment partners worldwide, particularly in the Middle East and the African continent," he stated.
He further noted that this agreement marks a practical step in that direction. Redington provides UAE-developed AI with a global distribution infrastructure available to only a select few software companies worldwide, enabling AIREV to expand efficiently and sustainably into new markets.
The landmark agreement was forged in collaboration with Intel, which shares an existing partnership with AIREV focused on optimizing AI software performance, as well as a long-standing relationship with Redington within the global distribution ecosystem.
Through this alliance, AIREV will train and certify Redington’s channel partners. The companies will also launch joint market development programs and deal registration mechanisms to accelerate the adoption of enterprise-grade AI solutions across the region.
Significantly, the partnership paves the way for deploying AI solutions directly on edge devices without requiring a cloud connection. The platform has been highly optimized to run efficiently on Intel® Core™ Ultra Series 3 processors, enabling AI agents to operate locally on user devices. This advancement enhances performance and responsiveness while strictly maintaining data privacy.
This localized technical architecture is particularly crucial for government entities, regulated sectors, and organizations operating in markets with stringent data sovereignty and protection laws—a segment that constitutes a substantial portion of Redington’s current client base.
Muhammad Khaled, Founder and CEO of AIREV, commented: "Redington grants us access to a vast scale of markets and clients, while Intel has brought us together within an integrated ecosystem that combines microchips, software, and a distribution channel serving markets from the Gulf to the entirety of Africa."
Sayantan Dev, Global Head of the Software Solutions Group at Redington, highlighted that the next phase of enterprise AI will be measured by an organization's ability to execute and achieve tangible results, moving beyond mere experimentation. "Today, enterprises are actively seeking AI platforms that seamlessly integrate with their existing infrastructure, established governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements," he said.
He added that by introducing AIREV’s sovereign AI copilot platform into Redington’s ecosystem of Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), Redington empowers clients to confidently accelerate their AI adoption. This is backed by trusted technologies, deep-rooted local expertise, and a distribution network purpose-built to scale and support innovation in emerging markets.
