QNB Egypt Wins 12 Prestigious International Awards in 2026, Reinforcing Its Leadership Across Banking Segments

QNB Egypt, a subsidiary of QNB Group, the leading financial institution in the Middle East and Africa, has been honored with 12 prestigious international awards in 2026 by leading global financial institutions, reaffirming its position as one of Egypt’s premier banks and recognizing its excellence in delivering innovative banking solutions across multiple business segments.

Digital Banking Excellence

QNB Egypt was named Best Digital Banking Bank in Egypt 2026 by Global Banking & Finance Review, in recognition of its continued investments in digital transformation and the enhancement of its electronic banking services. The bank continues to expand its online and mobile banking platforms to meet the growing demand for digital financial services.

Retail Banking Leadership

The bank also received the Best Retail Bank in Egypt 2026 award from both Global Banking & Finance Review and Capital Finance International (CFI), reflecting its success in expanding its retail customer base and strengthening its competitive position in consumer banking.

Customer deposits reached EGP 879 billion by the end of March 2026, marking a 13% increase compared with the end of 2025, driven by the bank's expanding portfolio of savings and financing products tailored to diverse customer needs.

Corporate Banking and Trade Finance

QNB Egypt received the Best Corporate Bank in Egypt 2026 and Best Trade Finance Bank in Egypt 2026 awards from Global Banking & Finance Review, highlighting its leadership in supporting large corporations with comprehensive financing solutions.

The bank's loans and credit facilities portfolio increased to EGP 498 billion, up by EGP 31 billion, representing 7% growth compared with December 2025, underscoring its pivotal role in financing businesses, trade, and investment activities.

SME Banking Recognition

QNB Egypt earned five major awards for its support of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), including:

Best SME Bank in Egypt from Global Banking & Finance Review, Capital Finance International, and The Digital Banker.

Fastest Growing SME Bank in Egypt 2026 from International Finance Magazine.

Best Non-Financial Services Initiative for SMEs in North Africa from The Digital Banker.

These awards reflect the bank's commitment to delivering integrated financial and non-financial solutions that promote SME growth and entrepreneurship.

Treasury and Financial Strength

The bank further strengthened its leadership by winning the Best Treasury Services Bank in Egypt 2026 award from Global Banking & Finance Review, recognizing its strong liquidity management and financial position.

Total assets rose to EGP 1.044 trillion by the end of March 2026, representing 12% annual growth, while the bank maintained a robust Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) of 24.6%.

Customer Experience

QNB Egypt also received the Customer Experience Excellence Award in Egypt 2026 from International Finance Magazine, recognizing its customer-centric strategy and continuous efforts to enhance products, services, and the overall customer journey.

The award reflects the success of the bank's philosophy of being "More Than a Bank," supported by an extensive network of 239 branches serving customers across Egypt.
