Mostafa Ismail Hassan has officially assumed his role as the new Chief Executive Officer of Egypt’s Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (MSMEDA), following a decree issued by Prime Minister Dr. Moustafa Madbouly.

The transition was finalized during a handover meeting with the Senior Management Committee, attended by outgoing CEO Basel Rahmy and senior agency leadership. During the meeting, officials reviewed ongoing developmental programs, economic initiatives, and recent achievements within the small business and entrepreneurship sectors.

Strategic Priorities and Digital Transformation

Outlining his vision for the upcoming phase, Hassan emphasized plans to modernize internal workflows, elevate service efficiency, and leverage modern digital technology to streamline administrative procedures for citizens and entrepreneurs across all Egyptian governorates.

Handover Ceremony

Hassan expressed deep appreciation for Basel Rahmy’s contributions during his tenure, commending the agency's leadership and staff for their dedication to advancing Egypt's economic development agenda. On behalf of MSMEDA personnel, Hassan presented Rahmy with a commemorative shield in recognition of his service.

In response, Rahmy congratulated his successor, expressing full confidence in Hassan's ability to build upon the agency’s historical achievements and continue driving Egypt’s economic and developmental goals forward.
