MCIT Partners with Public Prosecution to Upskill Staff in AI, Digital Transformation
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), in collaboration with the Egyptian Public Prosecution, has organized a series of specialized training programs on artificial intelligence (AI), digital transformation, and project management for more than 2,000 members of the Public Prosecution.
The initiative is part of the ongoing cooperation between the two entities to strengthen institutional digital capabilities and build awareness of emerging technologies. It aims to equip Public Prosecution members with the skills needed to navigate emerging digital technologies, data protection, and privacy, while fostering a culture of safe and responsible AI use across institutional operations.
The training was delivered by leading national and international partners, namely the National Training Academy (NTA), the Egyptian Anti-Corruption Academy, the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), and Microsoft.
The training package covered the safe and responsible use of AI, a specialized program in generative AI, an introduction to project management, an introduction to Agile methodology for business management, and an overview of Microsoft 365 Copilot tools, in addition to a dedicated session introducing participants to the latest AI models and how they can be leveraged within government institutions.
The programs further explored the principles of responsible AI and the governance mechanisms needed for intelligent systems, ensuring these technologies are implemented safely and effectively in line with international standards across government and institutional settings.
These programs reflect the shared commitment of MCIT and the Public Prosecution to building a workforce capable of keeping pace with technological change and putting these tools to effective use in the public interest, reinforcing Egypt's broader digital transformation agenda and raising the standard of government services.
