National Bank of Kuwait Reports 3% YoY Growth with $1.1 Billion Net Profit in H1 2026

The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) has announced its financial results for the six-month period ending June 30, 2026, reporting a net profit of 324.8 million Kuwaiti Dinars ($1.1 billion). This represents a 3% year-on-year growth compared to the 315.3 million KWD ($1.0 billion) recorded during the same period in 2025.

The bank’s solid momentum continued into the second quarter of 2026, where net profit reached 189.3 million KWD ($614.9 million), marking a 4.5% increase from the 181.2 million KWD ($588.4 million) achieved in Q2 2025.

Commenting on the financial results, Hamad Al-Bahar, Chairman of the Board of Directors at NBK, emphasized that the H1 2026 figures reflect the bank’s capacity to sustain growth despite ongoing global and regional economic uncertainties and geopolitical challenges.

"Our financial results for the first half of 2026 confirm the resilience of the Group's business model and its high flexibility in navigating various market variables.
