Gold Prices Decline in Egypt on Monday, July 20, 2026

Gold prices in Egypt continued to decline during trading on Monday, July 20, 2026, with 21-karat gold, the country's most widely traded benchmark, falling to EGP 5,850 per gram for buying and EGP 5,830 for selling.

According to the latest market update, 24-karat gold was priced at EGP 6,685 for buying and EGP 6,662 for selling, while 18-karat gold recorded EGP 5,014 for buying and EGP 4,997 for selling.

The gold pound stood at EGP 46,800 for buying and EGP 46,640 for selling, while the local gold ounce reached EGP 207,925 for buying and EGP 207,214 for selling.

Meanwhile, the global spot gold price was recorded at $5,850 for buying and $5,800 for selling, while silver traded at EGP 98.0 for buying and EGP 96.0 for selling.
