Gold Prices Hold Steady at the Start of Trading; 21-Karat Gold Buys at EGP 5,850
Gold prices remained stable in the Egyptian market at the start of trading today, with 21-karat gold, the country's most widely traded gold category, recording EGP 5,850 per gram for buying and EGP 5,830 per gram for selling.
Meanwhile, 24-karat gold was priced at EGP 6,685 per gram for buying and EGP 6,662 per gram for selling, while 18-karat gold stood at EGP 5,014 per gram for buying and EGP 4,997 per gram for selling. 14-karat gold recorded EGP 3,900 per gram for buying and EGP 3,886 per gram for selling.
The gold sovereign was priced at EGP 46,800 for buying and EGP 46,640 for selling, while the local gold ounce reached EGP 207,925 for buying and EGP 207,214 for selling.
