Steel Prices Drop in Egypt; Ton Declines by Up to EGP 2,500 for July 2026
Local steel manufacturers have announced their product prices for July 2026, recording a notable decline across most companies. The price reduction ranged between EGP 1,500 and EGP 2,500 per ton compared to the rates observed in May and June.
According to manufacturer statements, the official prices include the 14% Value Added Tax (VAT) and are quoted on an ex-factory basis.
