Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy Concludes Successful Participation at GITEX AI Europe 2026

The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, one of the three chambers operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, successfully concluded its participation in the GITEX AI Europe 2026 exhibition, hosted in Berlin, Germany.

At its pavilion, the Chamber presented the promising opportunities and competitive advantages that position Dubai as a global digital economy hub to 287 European startups and fast-growing enterprises. The showcase highlighted the unique features of Dubai's digital ecosystem and outlined pathways for scaling operations within the emirate across all digital sectors. Furthermore, the Chamber held strategic meetings with 20 ecosystem partners, including accelerators and venture capital firms, to introduce diverse opportunities within the digital economy.

Empowering Innovation and Global Competitiveness

During the exhibition, visitors to the Chamber's pavilion were introduced to the comprehensive infrastructure that makes Dubai a premier global destination for digital sector entrepreneurs and businesses.

Saeed Al Gergawi, Vice President of the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, stated: "Dubai continues to solidify its position as a leading global hub for innovation and technology by developing an advanced business ecosystem that supports the growth of tech companies and provides a highly attractive environment for investments and top talent. We remain deeply committed to enhancing the competitive advantages that make Dubai the preferred destination for global enterprises, supporting business growth and cementing the emirate's status as an international center for developing future solutions."

"Launch in Dubai" and Featured Startups

The Chamber’s pavilion featured a dedicated zone for the "Launch in Dubai" program, organized in collaboration with Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO)—the specialized economic zone for knowledge and innovation operating under the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ). This program serves as a unified platform to streamline business services and provide comprehensive support for investors and entrepreneurs looking to establish or expand their ventures in Dubai.

Additionally, the pavilion hosted a select group of fast-growing startups that exemplify the rich opportunities available in the emirate for establishing and scaling innovative digital projects. These included:

XPANCEO: The developer of the world's first multifunctional smart contact lenses, which successfully created advanced technological solutions and transitioned into a billion-dollar company from its base in Dubai.

Carbon2Capital: A startup that transforms financial transactions into indicators and data linked to carbon footprints.

Cognition AI: A company specializing in the development of autonomous, AI-driven software engineers.

Kerno: A UAE-based enterprise specializing in the manufacturing of IT infrastructure and enterprise-grade AI solutions.

Qashio: A leading specialist in financial technology (FinTech).
