Tatweer Misr, a leading real estate developer in Egypt, announced the conclusion of the seventh edition of the "Tatweer Misr Innovation Competition" during a grand ceremony held at the Saladin Citadel. The event was hosted to announce the winners and distribute awards to the qualifying projects.

The ceremony witnessed seven contestants advancing to the final stage, where they presented their innovative solutions to the judging panel, taking their concepts from ideation to practical application. This progression reflects the evolving caliber of participants and the capacity of entrepreneurs to deliver viable, actionable solutions across various sectors.

The seventh edition was organized in partnership with the Egypt Entrepreneurship Awards (EEA), aligning with integrated efforts to support the Egyptian entrepreneurship ecosystem. The collaboration aims to provide greater opportunities for innovators to connect with investors and experts, accelerating the transformation of promising ideas into scalable and viable enterprises.

The judging panel comprised a distinguished group of experts in entrepreneurship, innovation, investment, and real estate development. The committee responsible for evaluating the finalists included Dr. Ahmed Shalaby, Co-founder, President, and CEO of Tatweer Misr; Dr. Dina Sherif, Executive Director of the MIT Kuo Sharper Center for Prosperity & Entrepreneurship; Ali Mokhtar, CEO of Beltone Venture Capital; and Dr. Mohamed Fahmy, Co-founder and Chief Technology and Research Officer at iVolution AI by LOGIC.

The panel assessed the projects based on a stringent set of criteria, including the idea's innovativeness, practical applicability, growth and scalability potential, and its overall contribution to providing practical solutions that support diverse sectors.

The competition concluded with the crowning of three winners. The project Nubrik won in the Ideation category, receiving a cash prize of EGP 400,000, along with a specialized training program led by Radwa Rostom, Founder and CEO of Handover, designed to empower the team to scale their concept into a viable business.

In the MVP (Minimum Viable Product) category, both Pro Tile and Solar Sector emerged victorious. Each startup received a prize of EGP 600,000, bringing the total financial awards distributed to EGP 1.6 million.

Tatweer Misr emphasized that its support for the winners extends beyond financial backing. The company will provide practical mentorship, knowledge transfer, and valuable networking opportunities with industry partners and experts. This holistic approach is designed to help scale these businesses and explore future collaboration opportunities with Tatweer Misr, continuing a tradition established in previous editions of the competition.
