The Arab Council for Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development honors Maha Naji with the Arab Women”s Award for Social Responsibility 2026
Maha Naji, Executive Vice President of the Publicity and Social Responsibility Sector at Orange Egypt, received the Arab Women's Award for Social Responsibility 2026, which is awarded by the Arab Council for Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development, in recognition of her contributions to supporting social responsibility and sustainability programs, and enhancing the role of the private sector as a key partner in achieving sustainable development.
The honoring came during the activities of the fifth edition of the Arab International Forum for Diplomatic Women, organized by the Arab Council for Social Responsibility and Sustainable Development in cooperation with the League of Arab States and under the auspices of the Union of Arab Universities, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States in Cairo, amid wide participation of Arab women leaders and representatives of government institutions and the private sector.
This honoring embodies Orange Egypt's approach to integrating social responsibility and sustainability into its institutional strategy, through the implementation of long-term initiatives aimed at supporting education, empowering youth and women, promoting digital inclusion, supporting people of determination, and contributing to building more sustainable societies, in line with the targets of Egypt's Vision 2030 and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
During the past years, Maha Naji has played a pivotal role in leading the corporate communication and social responsibility system within Orange Egypt, and strengthening partnerships with government agencies and civil society institutions, which contributed to maximizing the societal impact of the company's initiatives and consolidating its position as a development partner supporting the priorities of the Egyptian state.
In selecting the winners, the award was based on a range of criteria, including the size of community impact, sustainability of initiatives, innovation, and the ability to achieve tangible results, in addition to contributing to spreading the culture of social responsibility and consolidating best institutional practices.
On this occasion, Maha Naji, Executive Vice President of the Advertising and Social Responsibility Sector at Orange Egypt, expressed her pride in this honor, stressing that the award represents a recognition of Orange Egypt's approach to making social responsibility and sustainability an integral part of the company's strategy.
She added: "At Orange Egypt, we believe that real success is measured by our ability to make a positive and sustainable impact in society, so we continue to work with our partners from state institutions and civil society to launch initiatives that open new horizons for young people, support education, digital empowerment and inclusion, to contribute to achieving the targets of Egypt's Vision 2030 and building a more sustainable future for future generations."
