DECI Students Win Multiple Awards at Technoxian Egypt Robotics Championship
One of the world's largest robotics championships, Technoxian brings together brilliant young minds, engineers, coders, and robotics enthusiasts from across the globe to compete, collaborate, and help shape the future of technology.
Seven teams of 17 students from DECI's fourth cohort, spanning the Web Development and Data Science and AI tracks, competed in the national qualifiers, with all seven teams walking away with awards in the Web Design Artist and Problem Solver (Python) competitions.
The national championship set out to sharpen students' programming skills, gear them up for professional-level competition, and spotlight talents with the potential to represent Egypt on the international stage. Taking part also helped students build their abilities in web design, creative and logical thinking, teamwork, problem-solving, communication, and competitive coding.
The participation came as part of a collaboration between DECI and STEM Zone, a leading provider of cutting-edge technology education programs. The partnership aims to empower students to take part in international IT and programming competitions.
Launched by the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), DECI targets top-performing students from the first year of preparatory school to the second year of secondary school in Egyptian schools nationwide. The initiative aims to equip young people with IT skills and prepare them for the demands of the future labor market.
