Tenth of Ramadan Investors Association Organizes Inaugural ”Corporate Marathon” to Celebrate June 30 Revolution

The Tenth of Ramadan Investors Association organized the inaugural edition of the "Corporate Marathon" in collaboration with the "Shabab El-Geel" (Generation Youth) entity, affiliated with the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The event saw broad participation from workers across various factories in the city, marking one of the largest community running events hosted in industrial cities, coinciding with the celebrations of the June 30 Revolution anniversary.

Eng. Khedr Ibrahim, Head of the Youth and Sports Committee at the Tenth of Ramadan Investors Association, stated that the marathon falls under the Association's broader agenda to organize diverse community and sporting events. These initiatives aim to strengthen the bonds among workers in the industrial community, encourage sports participation, and promote a culture of healthy living.

From his side, Dr. Mohamed Zein El-Din, Head of the "Shabab El-Geel" entity, emphasized that organizing the marathon aligns with the Ministry of Youth and Sports' strategy to support youth and athletic activities. This comprehensive plan, prepared by Brigadier General Wessam Sabry, Assistant Minister of Youth and Sports, under the directives of the Minister, aims to empower youth across various sectors. Sports, in particular, is highlighted as a critical tool for character building and capacity development.

The marathon kicked off from the headquarters of the Tenth of Ramadan Investors Association. The 10-kilometer race took place on the city's main road, which was completely closed to traffic to ensure the utmost safety for all participants. The event was characterized by a highly competitive atmosphere and a massive turnout.

Dr. Hala Mohamed Salah, Director General of the Tenth of Ramadan Investors Association, stated that organizing the marathon reflects the Association's ongoing efforts to spread a culture of physical activity within the community and encourage individuals to adopt a healthier lifestyle. Furthermore, it supports major sporting events that solidify the Tenth of Ramadan City's position as a leading destination for industrial, community, and athletic activities.

She added that the Association aims to continue organizing such events on a regular basis. This commitment will help enhance the quality of life within the industrial city, deeply root the concept of corporate social responsibility, and foster a more interactive and engaging environment among investors, workers, and their families.
