The United States Arab Emirates has firmly established itself as one of the fastest-growing e-commerce markets globally, heavily propelled by the rapid expansion of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the surging demand for advanced logistics solutions. This key finding was revealed in the highly anticipated "E-commerce Trends 2026" report published by DHL, a part of the global DHL Group.

Drawing on a massive survey of 29,000 online shoppers and 5,800 e-commerce businesses across 29 countries, the report underscores the UAE's position at the forefront of digital retail transformation.

The AI Revolution in UAE E-Commerce: The UAE is setting global benchmarks in integrating AI within the retail sector. According to DHL's data:

Business Integration: A staggering 91% of e-commerce companies in the UAE are already utilizing AI applications within their digital platforms.

Future Expansion: 84% of these businesses plan to significantly increase their use of AI technologies over the next five years.

Consumer Usage: 51% of local shoppers actively rely on AI-powered chatbots and virtual assistants during their online shopping journeys.
