Furthermore, European nations exhibited robust appetite for Egyptian products, led by Spain ($103M), the Netherlands ($97M), Italy ($78M), the UK ($61M), and Germany ($56M). Additionally, exports to China reached an impressive $82 million.
Regionally, Saudi Arabia led the pack with $213 million, supported by strong figures from Jordan, Sudan, Libya, Iraq, Palestine, the UAE, and Algeria.
According to the Food Export Council, this diversified export map is a testament to the high quality and global competitiveness of Egyptian food products. The continued expansion into the US, EU, and Chinese markets marks a vital step in reinforcing the presence of Egyptian brands on international retail shelves.
