Hisham Mehran: Investing in youth and developing their skills is a key pillar for building a competitive economy and achieving the targets of Egypt's Vision 2030

Orange Egypt announced a strategic partnership with the Ministry of Social Solidarity to launch the Start Hub platform and support the Start 2026 Forum, the largest national event aimed at empowering university students and new graduates and qualifying them to build successful career paths, as part of the company's continuous commitment to support the efforts of the Egyptian state in investing in people, empowering youth and enhancing their readiness for the labor market.

The event witnessed the signing of a cooperation protocol between the Ministry of Social Solidarity and Orange Egypt, in the presence of Dr. Maya Morsi, Minister of Social Solidarity, Dr. Abdulaziz Qansoua, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Hisham Mehran, CEO and Managing Director of Orange Egypt, in a step that reflects the strength of the partnership between the public and private sectors to support young people and qualify them for future jobs.

This partnership is an extension of the role played by Orange Egypt as a supportive development partner for the efforts of the Egyptian state in preparing young cadres capable of keeping pace with digital transformations and the requirements of the modern economy, in line with the targets of Egypt's Vision 2030 aimed at building a knowledge-based economy and promoting inclusiveness and sustainability in the labor market.

Orange Egypt is establishing and launching the Start Hub platform to be an integrated digital portal that connects young people and the labor market, and provides an integrated path starting from career guidance and rehabilitation to training and employment opportunities, contributing to building a more prepared and competitive generation.

More than 250 companies and institutions participated in the START 2026 Forum, along with thousands of students and graduates from various Egyptian universities. Orange Egypt provided job opportunities and various training programs within the company. Orange Egypt also provided specialized training programs in the fields of artificial intelligence, data analysis, entrepreneurship and digital marketing, with the aim of providing young people with the most demanded skills in the digital job market and enhancing their readiness for future jobs.
