Visa and Revolut Launch ”Click to Pay” Across UK and Europe, Redefining Online Shopping for Millions
Visa has announced the launch of its "Click to Pay" service for eligible Revolut cardholders in the UK and Europe. This major expansion brings a faster, safer, and password-free online checkout experience to millions of consumers, driving the shift from traditional card entry to secure digital tokens.
With Click to Pay, users no longer need to manually enter card numbers, remember passwords, or wait for one-time passwords (OTPs). Built on global interoperability standards, the service works seamlessly across various devices and browsers. Revolut is rolling out the feature to over 13 million customers in the UK and more than 40 million across Europe, with plans to expand into Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Japan. Cardholders are automatically enrolled, drastically reducing checkout times by up to 20 seconds.
